"Parihaka, Concert Group"

Description
Large performance group at Parihaka. The performers wear piupiu and some of the figures wear raukura (white feathers) in their hair. Many of the figures appear blurred. A blurred woman figure stands slightly in front of the group and a man holding a taiaha and stands towards its rear. They stand in front of Te Niho o Te Atiawa, the dining room on Pāra Huka marae. Since 1967, the dining room has been used as a sleeping room.
