Description
An Italian War Medal. The round bronze medal features the left facing helmeted profile of King Victor Emmanuel III. " GVERRA PER L'VNITA D'ITALIA 1915 1918 " The reverse features an upright figure of victory standing on shields held by two soldiers. " CONIATA 'NEL BRONZO NEMICO " is marked around it. A green white and red striped ribbon is attached to the medal with an integral suspension bar. A 1916 and 1917 bar is fitted to the ribbon.
