 Description
A Colonial Auxiliary Forces Long Service Medal. The silver plated medal features a left facing profile of King Edward VII on the obverse. " EDWARDVS VII REX IMPERATOR " is marked around it. The reverse is topped by a crown and is marked " FOR / LONG SERVICE / IN THE / COLONIAL AUXILIARY / FORCES ". The medal is attached to a dark green ribbon by a plain, straight suspension bar and the ribbon is topped by a plain bar with a pin. " No. 259, PVT. A.H. ARMITAGE, 11th Reg. (TARANAKI RIFLES), 1912 ". is marked on the edge.
