Description
Rex Bayliss Holswich (1924-2021) speaks to Ray Cleaver about his time as a Flight Sergeant with the Royal New Zealand Air Force during the Second World War. Rex trained with the Royal Canadian Air Force in Manitoba and Saskatchewan, graduating in 1944, before serving in the RNZAF's No. 1 Squadron in the Pacific.

The project aimed to capture the stories of the remaining Taranaki WWII veterans. The interviews were conducted between 2009-2011 by Ray Cleaver and Peter McDonald. The project was funded with the help of a grant from the Taranaki Electricity Trust.
