Description
Modelled on Sydney's Powerhouse Museum's 2009 show 'The Odditoreum' the exhibition 'Stranger Than Fiction' was shown at Puke Ariki from Friday 13 May until Sunday 31 July 2011. The exhibition featured 27 objects from the Puke Ariki Heritage Collection. The objects were displayed without object labels. The public were asked to write their own fictitious labels about the odd objects on display. These labels were displayed alongside the objects for the duration of the show.
