 Description
Two servicemen. On left, this serviceman is Nelson Ramsay Boyd. On right, Ronald Gordon Dawson (1921-1945) is seated in Royal New Zealand Airforce uniform. Son of Gerald Douglas Dawson and Alice Jane Dawson of Rahotu, Taranaki. He served in the 141 Squadron during World War Two. Dawson was killed in action on 19 April 1945, aged 24. Buried at Durnbach War Cemetery, Bad Tolz, Bayern, Germany.
