Copy photograph of General Trevor Chute, 70th Regiment of Foot. Chute is seated in profile and is dressed in full military uniform. One arm rests on a table and Chute holds the hilt of his sword with his other hand. Chute's military cap is also resting on the table. The photograph is included on page 19 of William Francis Robert Gordon's album "Some "Soldiers of the Queen" who served in the Maori Wars and Other Notable Persons Connected Herewith".
