Description
A collection of taonga Māori arranged in a bush setting. The taonga include: a carved whale bone wahaika/short club (A77.223) on the right; a carved wooden patu/club (A77.191) centre; a mere pounamu/greenstone weapon (A77.258) propped up against a rock centre; and a carved wooden taiaha/staff with feather decoration (A77.303). The photograph was taken to be included in a calendar published in 1970 by Ivon Watkins Dow, the agricultural chemicals company.
