Copy photograph of a painting of Colonel Robert Henry Wynyard, 58th Regiment, British Army and Provincial Superintendant of Auckland. The painting is a bust portrait showing Wynyard wearing a suit with a bow tie. The copy photograph includes the following annotation: "Col. of 58th Regt; Superintendant of the Province of Auckland; Commander of the Troops & Officer administering the Govt. of New Zealand 1855". The photograph is included on page 17 of William Francis Robert Gordon's album "Some "Soldiers of the Queen" who served in the Maori Wars and Other Notable Persons Connected Herewith".
