Serviceman, Warrant Officer Norman Simon McGregor. Born, 22 April 1911 in Kotare, Taranaki. Son of Percy Charles and Francisco Barbara McGregor, of Uruti. He enlisted aged 28 years. Served in 19th Battalion in Egypt, Greece, Crete and Italy. Formally discharged from 2NZEF on 1 June 1945.
