Description
Two scouts pretending to chop the head off another scout. One scout, possibly Percy Appleby, has his head resting on a felled tree trunk while Decima Elliot holds an axe above his neck. Another scout is crouching next to the tree holding a scout hat under the 'victim's' head, as if to catch the soon-to-be-severed head. Photograph taken during the Waiongana River cub camp, Taranaki.
