View of the Municipal Electrical Department building on the corner of Liardet and Vivian Streets, New Plymouth. The building reads that the Municipal Electrical Department was established in 1906 and that the building was erected in 1915. It was later used as the New Plymouth District Council Building. The photograph shows the beginnings of the construction of the Vivian Street overbridge.
