Description
A 5lb Edmonds baking powder tin. The front of the tin features the multicoloured Edmonds trademark with a sun rising behind food with a decorative "E" in the foreground. " EDMONDS/ESTD. PRIZE 1879 / BAKING POWDER / SURE TO RISE / TRADE MARK / (REGISTERED) is written on the front of the tin. " Edmonds " is embossed on the lift off lid. The other sides of the tin feature directions for use, a recipe for scones and manufacturing and promotional details. The tin is empty. " 50 " is marked in black felt on the underside of the base.
