Description
A thick clear crystal Masonic firing glass with a short bulbous body and a long heavy octagonal stem and base. Various Masonic symbols are etched on the glass including a compass, sunburst and crossed swords. The glass is held in a rewarewa box with a hinged lid which can be fastened by a metal hook at the front. The sides of the interior are lined with green felt. " FIRING GLASS " is handwritten on a paper label stuck to the underside of the lid.
