Description
Four workbooks belonging to Ralph Conrad Wilson while studying at Training College in Auckland, 1918-1919.
Wilson was born in 1899 in Kirikopuni, Northland. He moved to New Plymouth to teach c. 1920. He taught, and for a time was head of the Science Department, at New Plymouth Boys High School for approximately 40 years. There he was known as ‘Horsey’ Wilson. In 1958 he moved to the Philippines where he wrote physics textbooks for the Pilipino school system until his return to New Plymouth in 1960. In 1960 Wilson established R.C. Wilson and Company Stockbrokers in New Plymouth. He died in New Plymouth in 1978, aged 79 years.
