Production date
1980-2009
Description
Ephemera collection donated to Puke Ariki by Dale Copeland at the conclusion of the exhibition 'Post No Bills' Ephemera by Taranaki’s Independent Art Groups, 4 August – 2 October 2011, Wall Gallery, North Wing Puke Ariki.
The collection consists of a range of handmade ephemera including postcards, invitations, pamphlets and posters relating to a number of events organised by local artists and art groups such as TACO (Taranaki Artists Co-operative) and the Outskirts Art Collective from about 1980 until 2009. The collection shows the development of local artists from renegade ‘Renosense’ art shows in the early 1980’s to the formation of the Real Tart gallery and involvement in various international art shows.
