Opening of the meeting house Te Ikaroa-a-Māui and the unveiling of a statue of Sir Māui Pomare. A large crowd stands in the marae ātea. The building beside the tent at the left of the image is Tamawahine. Te Ikaroa-a-Māui is the building to the right of the image, behind the statue of Māui Pomare.
