Description
The Opunake Power Board amalgamated with the South Taranaki Power Board on 1 April 1963 and became the Egmont Electric Power Board. In 1997 the South Taranaki District council sold Egmont Electricity to Powerco.
These are the individual records of the Opunake Power Board and the South Taranaki Power Board until their amalgamation, and the records of the Egmont Electric Power Board until 1997. Records include correspondence, annual reports, annual accounts, information regarding superannuation and the staff welfare fund, insurance policies, debenture information and dangerous goods licences.
