Description
An Anzac Commemorative Medallion. The obverse of the bronze medallion features a the scene of Simpson and his donkey carrying a wounded soldier. " 1915 " and " ANZAC " is marked on the obverse. The medallion is surmounted by St. Edward's Crown. A wreath of gum leaves is depicted below the scene. The reverse features a map of New Zealand and Australia with the Southern Cross prominent. A wreath of fern leaves is below the map. " W POLLARD " is marked on the medal which is mounted in a presentation case lined with purple velvet.
