Description
A collection of letters written by Hilton George Olliver (nicknamed Skelly) to his wife Mable Rose (nee. Foster). The first letter was written while training at Trentham and the latter letters were written while Hilton was serving in Egypt during World War One. Also includes a diary kept by Hilton during his service with the Cairo Camel Corps for the year of 1917.
The letters are photocopies of originals and have been transcribed. The diary is the original copy and has not been transcribed.
