In 1957, shortly after the death of her husband, Kathleen Sanderson, along with her daughter Rae, purchased a house at 11 Wheeler Place, New Plymouth with a State Advances loan arranged by Rae.
The records show the outward expenditure for the household for Kathleen and Rae from 1957 to 1972 (when Rae married Stan Priest). Kathleen continued to keep the books until 1996.
