Description
A partially completed sampler featuring a Union Jack flag mounted on a flag pole. The base material of the simple sampler is relatively loosely woven and is sewn onto a paper backing. " Patient ill with Pleurisy while working Faith Ward L. Cpl. C.A. Jordon " is handwritten on the paper above the sampler. Another word written in pencil is illegible near the centre. " L/Cpl. C.A.
