Collection consists of qualifications, certificates and references pertaining to the medical career of Edward Larwill Humphries. Dr. Edward Humphries came to New Zealand on the emigrant ship Mary in 1848-1849 returning to England soon after. He returned to New Plymouth with his wife and family on the ship Edward Paget in 1851.
