 Description
Scrapbook created by the New Plymouth Junior Chamber of Commerce, a youth group mentored by New Plymouth Jaycees, in 1948. Scrapbook contains information relating to a project the New Plymouth Junior Chamber of Commerce undertook to assist the Pukekura Park Committee to further the interests of the Park. Initiatives included the creation of a mock court in the Park, a street day appeal, a ball and a swimwear parade. The New Plymouth Junior Chamber of Commerce raised £475 during their Pukekura Park campaign.
