The minutes include a record of the meeting of the New Plymouth Central School Committee and the formation of a Committee of Management of the Technical and Continuation Classes. By 1911, the name of the committee had changed to New Plymouth Technical School Advisory Committee. The Technical School ran various courses including plumbing, woodwork and other practical skills.
