 Description
A silver Taranaki Mounted Rifles shooting medal. The maltese cross is attached to a plain suspension bar with floriate engraving by a simple suspension ring. " Taranaki / Mounted Rifles / 1879 " is marked on the obverse. The reverse is marked "1st Prize / Won by / H. Newland " A faded, light blue ribbon is attached to the medal.
