Description
A French Escapees' Medal (Médaille des Évadés). The bronze medal features a left facing profile of a woman wearing a laurel wreath representing the French Republic. " REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE " is marked around the edge. " MEDAILLE / DES / EVADES " is marked on the reverse with a wreath surrounding it. The medal is attached to a green ribbon with orange vertical stripes by a simple suspension ring through a horizontally pierced barrel suspension.
