Description
A German War Commemorative Medal (1871). The circular bronze medal for combatants features a cross pattee design at the centre of the obverse side with rays between the arms of the cross. A wreath design fringes the centre of the cross. " Gott war mit uns Ihm Fei Die Ehre " is marked around near the edge of the reverse. A crown with a W features at the centre. " Dem fiegreichen / Heere ".
"AUS FROBERTEM GESCHUETZ " is marked around the edge. A simple ring suspension is attached to the top but the ribbon is missing.
