This item is Darphane made, which is the Turkish mint for medals. The figure in the center is the seal of Sultan Resad and the date is 1337 which is 1915. Thanks to Tan Kurbceke from Turkey

Hi, These stars are called a 'Turkish War Medal' and should not be limited to Gallipoli. BArry
