A Roman eagle features prominently with a Fasces behind it. " NEL NOME E NELL’AZIONE ROMANA " is marked at the top. The reverse is bordered by the text " DIVISIONE DI FANTERIA “SABRATHA" (60) " . A laurel wreath features inside it. " REGGIMENTI /FANTERIA 85 86 /ARTIGLIERIA 42 /BATTAGLIONI /MTR. LX-GENIO LX / CARRI L COMPL. LX / COMP. MOTOCICLISTI / COMP. CANNONI 47 / SEZ. CC.RR. 704/ SERVIZI " is marked on the reverse. The blue and yellow striped ribbon is attached to the medal by an integral suspension ring
