Description
Euplectes afer. Common name: Yellow-crowned bishop.
It is a small finch like bird. Predominately yellow and black. It has a yellow crown giving it its name. The throat is black and so is the belly and wings. The chest has a band of yellow. The beak is black and the legs are pale. It has a short tail with light black/grey flight feathers.
