 Description
Excavation at Waitore. Shows the general excavation area of an old hāngi pit in SQ D10. A cluster of smoothly shaped stones can be seen in the excavation area. Beside them is a measuring rod. The site was located near a small stream between the Pātea and Whenuakura river mouths. NZAA site number Q22/15.
