 Description
Excavation at Waitore. Shows excavation SQ D10 and D12. The excavation area is the site of an old hāngi pit. A small cluster of smoothly shaped stones are visible in the sand. Above the stones is a measuring rod. The site was located near a small stream between the Pātea and Whenuakura river mouths. NZAA site number Q22/15.
