Hat, Lemon Squeezer
Description
A Scout's Lemon Squeezer hat with a plaited brown leather belt around the crown. A metal Scout emblem, featuring a fleur de lis with a scroll beneath it marked " BOY SCOUTS " is attached to the belt and a purple plume is attached to the badge. A lace for a chin strap is threaded through two eyelets and tied onto the hat. The hat can be mounted in a hinged wooden cover fitted with metal clips. " Darzee's Hat / Fred made the cover when she was / going to the 1959 Jamboree..." is written on a handwritten yellow paper label attached to the cover.
