A large, round, amber coloured beer bottle. It has the initials "N.Z.B. / Ltd" within a shield on the shoulder. Embossed around the base is as follows: "THIS BOTTLE IS THE PROPERTY OF THE NEW ZEALAND BREWERIES LTD NEW ZEALAND 1939".
