Description
A wide mouthed, sand coloured ceramic crock. It has a high grooved overlapping lip which is made to take a lid (lid missing). The number "7" is branded just below the lip. "STOUR WARE / MADE BY / TIMARU POTTERIES" printed in black ink on the base of the jar. The text is encircled with an black oval shape with the first and third lines curved to fit the shape.
