Box, Trinket
Description
A square Britannia metal box. It has a hinged lid, however, the hinge is now broken. The lid and sides are decorated with raised bamboo trees giving the appearance of a forest. Inside the box there is an assortment of items, including one large dark button with ribbed edges, one medium-sized button with line patterns, one blue cotton ribbon tied into a bow, one light blue bead, one amber bead, one sewing pin an yellow cotton rolled into a ring formation. Was possibly a makeshift sewing kit.
