Description
View of Whakawhitiwhiti pā. Pā is visible on the top of the hill in the background of the image. The pā consists of an inner bank, surrounded by a ditch. An outer ditch and bank protect the south and north sides and part of the east side. Below the pā there are a few residential houses on the left side of the image. The rest of the land area is in early stages of development. Site is located just off Omata Road, New Plymouth. NZAA site number P19/16.
