I remember watching Frank launch and retrieve his boat off Ngamotu Beach when I was a teenager, it was poetry in motion and Frank never even got his feet wet, a very impressive feat.

More than once had a chug around the harbour on this one as Dad (Vic Rhodes) helped Frank with some maintenance.
