Aerial view of a large quarry pit of around 25 x 10 m and 1 - 1.5 m deep. There are around four more smaller pits in adjacent paddock. Image taken from north east. Site is located on ridge-end overlooking the Whenuakura River; behind farmhouse at the right angle in Rakaupiko Road. NZAA site number Q22/8.
