 Description
A cased bronze medal marking the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria.The large bronze medal features a left facing profile of Queen Victoria. " VICTORIA ANNVM REGNI SEXAGESIMMVM FELICITER CLAVDIT MM INV MDCCCXCVII "
The reverse features a left facing profile of a younger Victoria. " LONGI-TVDO / DIERVM / IN DEXTERA / EIVS / ET IN / SINISTRA / GLORIA / 1837" is marked on the reverse. The medal is mounted in a presentation case with a crown marked in gold on the lid. " 1837-1897 " is marked underneath the crown.
