Description
An American purple heart medal. The bronze medal features a left facing profile of George Washington on a dark purple enamelled background. A white enamelled shield with three red stars and two horizontal stripes feature atop the heart, flanked by two branches with green enamelled leaves. " FOR MILITARY MERIT " is marked on the reverse.
