A collection of material gathered by the New Plymouth Scout Historical Committee for the publication of: 'Scouting, New Plymouth and North Taranaki : 100 years of scouting memories' edited by Bruce Bellini ; researched, compiled, written and published by New Plymouth Scout Historical Committee. 2009
The New Plymouth Scout Historical Committee discovered very few scouting groups had retained their historical records or committee minute books. Much of the material collected is fragmentary, with large gaps in the chronological record of the groups.
