This photo of the "Black and White Ballet" was taken at Sam Feaver's studio at the same time as the photo of the "Canoe Ballet" (Accession No PHO2012-0463) which has been incorrectly dated May 1916. Donnie Morris appears in both photos - 1st on left in the front row of the "Black and White Ballet" photo, and on the far right in the "Canoe Ballet" photo. There is probably a third photo in the Feaver Collection of 4 dancers wearing fringed skirts i.e. "The Pink and Mauve Ballet" with Donnie on the left, and another photo of the 6 "Black and White" dancers posing in a row. All these photos have the same studio background.
