Description
Records from the Ngamotu Scout District, New Plymouth comprising the Rahotu, Pouakai, Oakura, Spotswood, Marfell, Mikotahi, St Josephs and West End Scout and cub groups and the Herekawe Rover Scout Crew.
Material collected by the the New Plymouth Scout Historical Committee for the publication of 'Scouting, New Plymouth and North Taranaki : 100 years of scouting memories'. 2009
The New Plymouth Scout Historical Committee discovered very few scouting groups had retained their historical records or committee minute books. Much of the material collected is fragmentary, with large gaps in the chronological record of the groups.
