View of Whakarewa pā on clifftop and coast. Image taken from Waitangi pā. Roof of “the castle”, a Chapman Taylor stone homestead built by the MP J W Wilkinson is visible through bush. Located at Wai-iti beach on the north side of the Papatiki stream which flows into the north end of beach. Situated on a hill, approached from the beach by way of a formed road. NZAA site number Q18/4.
