A New Zealand Medal. The silver medal features a left facing profile of Queen Victoria on the obverse. " VICTORIA D:G:BRITT:REG:F.D " is embossed around the edge of the profile. A wreath is featured on the reverse with " NEW ZEALAND VIRTUTIS HONOR " embossed around the edge of it.A "New Zealand War Medal, 1845-66", complete with ribbon. " Sergt. C. Wreford, Napier D.F. " is marked on the edge. The medal has a brooch pin attached to the obverse. and a ribbon attached.
