Public comments

This was the first girls rowing crew from Waitara High School. Modern women's rowing in NZ was in its infancy. Women started rowing at the Clifton Rowing Club in the 1972-1973 season and these girls were one of the crews. They then went on to represent Waitara HS at school regattas.
