Description

The tank is supported by a bracket attached to the tractor. Craig's arms are raised to his head, obscuring his face from view. He is wearing green overalls. The photograph is from a series of six photographs called "Taranaki Farm Boys", first shown at Gallery Impaire, Paris, France. The series documents farming environments photographer Maia McDonald both grew up with and worked within. Her photographs aim to portray her subjects' strength of character and an evocative sense of place.
