A collection of eighteen photographs of the re-enactment of the landing at Ngamotu Beach, performed for the centennial celebrations on 31st March 1941. Included are images of the crowds of people gathered to watch the performance and images of the performers. In the background are a range of views of Paritutu, Ngamotu Beach, and the Whiteley Mission House.The man standing beside the canon, playing the part of Dicky Barret has been identified as Herky Moon.
